2. Hosting
The website is hosted by IONOS SARL — 7 place de la Gare, 57200 Sarreguemines, France — www.ionos.fr.
3. Personal data & purpose
MECA8760 collects no personal data automatically while you browse: no account, no profiling, no analytics, no data resale. Some content is however loaded from third-party servers, which technically discloses your IP address to them (see section 4).
The contact form only transmits the information you voluntarily enter (name, company, e-mail, phone, message), for the sole purpose of handling your request for a quote or information. Message delivery is handled by the Web3Forms service, acting as a technical processor for e-mail transmission. No data is sold, transferred or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Cookies, trackers & third-party services
MECA8760 sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The site only stores, via your browser's local storage, your language choice (FR/EN). This stays on your device and is never sent to a server.
Two services provided by Google Ireland Limited are called by your browser when you view the site:
- Google Fonts — the site typeface is loaded from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com);
- Google Maps — the workshop location map at the bottom of the home page is loaded from Google; it only loads if you scroll down to it.
These calls disclose your IP address, browser type and the page viewed to Google. Google may set its own cookies and transfer this data outside the European Union. Legal basis: legitimate interest (correct rendering of the site and location of the workshop). You may block these domains in your browser or with an extension: the site remains fully readable and functional.
5. Data retention
Messages received via the form are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then archived or deleted.
6. Your rights
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data. To exercise it, write to contact meca8760.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority (CNIL).
